1. What we collect

When you create an account: your name, phone number, email address and a one-way hash of your password (we never store the password itself).

When you read: which page of each book you are on, so you can pick up where you left off.

When you buy a book: the book, the amount, the time of the request, and the payment screenshot you attach.

When you sign in: the device's browser or app identifier (user agent) and the time of the session, so you can see and sign out the device that is using your account. Your network address is used briefly to limit repeated sign-in attempts and is not kept.

2. How we use it

To run your account and the library, to verify and approve purchases, to send you notifications inside the app (such as a purchase decision or a new app version), to keep books protected by watermarking pages with your account details, and to answer your support requests.

We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

3. Where it is kept

Account and reading data are stored in a managed Postgres database. Book files, page images and payment screenshots are stored in encrypted form; they are encrypted by the service before being written and can only be read back by the service.

Payment screenshots are visible only to the administrator who reviews purchase requests.

4. Who we share it with

Only the providers that host the service (database, file storage and web hosting), and only as needed to run it. We do not share your details with other members or with anyone else unless the law requires it.

5. Cookies and local storage

The website sets one cookie, bk_session, which keeps you signed in. It is not used for tracking. The website may also remember your current page in a book in your browser's local storage.

6. How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When an account is deleted, its reading progress, sessions, purchase requests and notifications are deleted with it. Payment screenshots are deleted along with their purchase request.

7. Your choices

You can change your name and password from the Account page at any time. To correct other details or to delete your account, email us; we will act on the request promptly.

8. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Questions about your data: krishnavijay.gkv@gmail.com.
